San Diego County Water Authority
Techwriting Samples of policy and procedure documents created for the San Diego County Water Authority Engineering Department during the building of the Olivenhain Dam. This project was completed by Jeffrey Sheets as a contractor for MARRS Services.
This project was conducted between July 2001 and April 2003. I was a lone writer in tandem with the responsible project engineers, which required that I act as project manager and document every revision and approval.
All work was done with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Visio. There were four different manuals prepared: Community Impact policy and procedures guide, Urgent Pipe Repair Manual, Construction Management Manual, and Field Inspection Manual.
